JURLIQUE PRECIOUS HANDS 2015

In this film, we celebrate the precious hands of the women of the world. Theirs are the hands of everyday heroes who wouldn’t think about what they put their hands through day-in-day-out, but to whom their hands are vital to their work, to others and their way of life.

Made up of delicate vignettes, this project was a great opportunity to explore how key props can communicate a narrative. I focused using a variety of textures, to not only create visceral sense of touch but also ensure contrast between each vignette, so they each felt like stand-alone stories.
